San Francisco Dinner Events
A half-day, 3 and half hour, San Francisco orientation tour:
This tour will give your group an excellent introduction and overview of the City. We will visit Chinatown, NobHill, NorthBeach, the Haight Ashbury, Golden Gate Park, Pacific Heights, the Palace of Fine Arts, with a final stop at Fisherman's Wharf. Here the group can leave the tour and take a cablecar back to their hotel on their own, or stay with the bus and be dropped off at their hotel. The tour will stop for photo shoots at Twin Peaks (for that classic SF view), the Cliff House on the Pacific Ocean, and the Marin Headlands for a spectacular view of the Golden Gate Bridge. Depending on group size, we can offer this tour using a 12-person van, or 40-person motorcoach.
A San Francisco Bay Brunch or Lunch Cruise:
Surrounded by water, San Francisco is a city that you can truly tour by water. This will be a 2-hour cruise of the Bay that will provide wonderful views of the City skyline, Alcatraz Island, Angel Island, Sausalito, and the Golden Gate Bridge.
Pacific Heights Victorian and Edwardian Mansion Walking Tour (Sundays are best):
This is very a popular 2-hour walk into San Francisco's premier Victorian neighborhood that is famous for its large, impressive historical mansions and spectacular views of the Bay. The tour will see the Daniel Steele-Spreckels mansion plus many other wonderful landmark structures. Our tour guides will be members of the Foundation of San Franciscos Architectural Heritage.
Chinatown Culinary and Historical Walking Tour
with noted TV Chef Shirley Fong-Torres :
We will depart at 10:00 am for a 2 to 2.5 hour walking tour of the culinary and historical delights of Chinatown.
Little Italy walking tour:
This tour could operate any day and would be best in the morning. The tour is a 3-hour exploration of one of the most fascinating neighborhoods in San Francisco. We'd start with a morning cappuccino and biscotti in a North Beach coffeehouse, walk through Washington Square to visit St. Pauls Cathedral, visit an old-fashioned Italian delicatessen (for the sights and smells), visit a coffee roaster at work, and walk through the formally wild Old Barbary Coast to visit a micro-brewery to learn how beer is brewed!
